Sonic got flung into a tree outside the house by a new, stronger, Echidna mobian. He watched as the mobian, who he now knew as Knuckles, exited the house through the hole he made in the wall.

"You're not getting my power!" Sonic quickly spindashed towards him, trying to take him down. However, Knuckles easily stopped him with his fist, grabbing Sonic by the neck. "Do I look like I need your power?" Knuckles sneered.
