(Memphis and Norma Jean have an egg. Memphis carefully puts it under his pouch.)
Norma Jean: Memphis? You got it, sugar?
Memphis: Yeah. Oh, yeah. Safe and warm.
Norma Jean: Hold it tight, now.
Memphis: [jokingly, lightly stumbles] Whoa, l think l felt a move in there.
(Norma Jean gently chuckles and embraces her husband. Then slowly walks off with the rest of the wives to get food for their young.)
Norma Jean: You gonna be okay, Daddy?
Memphis: Oh, sure, honey. We'll be waiting for you, right here on Lonely Street.
Norma Jean: ♪ I love you more and more, tell me why... ♪ (not singing) Bye-bye, now.
Memphis: Goodbye, Norma Jean! Don't you worry about a thing!
Norma Jean & The Wives: ♪ Don't wanna let you go...I never can say goodbye, boy... ♪
(Memphis watches his wife leave as the voices fade away. Sooner or later, the sun starts setting, and a snowstorm hits Emperor Land.)

(The scene then changes to Memphis, who is carefully walking with the egg under him. But, unlike everyone else who is focused, he is semi-lost in his own world, thinking about his wife.)
Memphis: (quietly, to himself) ♪ I'm feelin' so lonely...I'm feelin' so lonely... ♪
Noah the Elder: Heed the wisdoms, brothers! Make a huddle!
The Elders: Warm thy egg!
Noah the Elder: Make a huddle!
The Elders & The Male Penguins: Share the cold!
Memphis: Share the cold.
Noah the Elder: Each must take his turn against the icy blast...If we are to survive the endless night! Raise your voices, brothers! Give praise to The Great 'Guin...Who puts songs in our hearts, and fish in our bellies!
(The males all sing in unison. Their voices get carried in the cold in, and form a glowing depiction of The Great Guin. It raises its flippers a little with fish swimming around it, "blessing" the penguins with said fish. It then hears a different song within the crowd and double-takes as it sees a depiction of Norma Jean in the wind. Her Heartsong was being sung by Memphis, who, once again, was in his own world.)
Norma Jean:: ♪ ...Don't have to be cool to rule my world. Ain't no particular song I'm more compatible with... ♪
Memphis: OHH, baby, l think l wanna dance now.
(Due to Memphis' carelessness, the worst happens. As he's trying to dance, he accidentally drops he and Norma Jean's egg.)
Memphis: AH! No, no, no, no, no, no.
(Memphis quickly chases after the egg while sliding on his belly. It isn't long until he catches it. He quickly and carefully puts it back under his pouch.)
Memphis: (quietly, panicking) It's okay.
Memphis: (still panicking) No harm done, see?
Memphis: (to himself) No, we're cool. We're cool.
