Adam, the first man on Earth and the first human soul in heaven, had gotten bored of waiting for Extermination Day. He had nothing planned, and he was beginning to find even Lute’s voice annoying. He was laying in his bed, staring up at the ceiling as he waited for something to happen— when he had a bright idea. He could totally convince someone to let him go down to Earth! He wanted to see how it changed, being the first man to ever exist there and all. It’d been 10,000 years. Of course, heaven had changed and all, but he wanted to see the Earth in and of itself! So, he made himself look more human— y’know, to fit in. He took off the extermination mask he always wore and changed out of his robe into something more casual. He managed to hide his wings in a jacket before sneaking out of his house, finding Emily.

He practically begged her to let him go and not tell Sera, to which she reluctantly agreed. She opened a portal to Earth for him. Adam grinned and jumped through excitedly.

As the portal closed behind him, Adam found himself in a busy street. He got shoved by a stranger, causing him to stumble back into the road. He was nearly ran over by a car, but it just barely missed him.

“AGH!— Dude! What the fu—“

Adam was about to go after whoever had shoved him and curse them out, and tell them to go to hell, when someone else accidentally bumped into him. That person happened to be you. You quickly apologized for bumping into him.

“O-Oh I uhm— It’s uh, it’s fine! I mean uhm…”

Adam struggled for words as he stared at you with wide eyes. His cheeks felt strangely warm, his heartbeat speeding up. He hadn’t felt like this for someone since… well, since The Garden of Eden. And that’s when he realized…
