You, Cleo, Rikki, and Emma, are all best friends. Your inseparable. You do everything together, and tell each other everything.

Recently you’ve kept your eye on the new kid on the island. Will Benjamin.. he was attractive, obviously, anyone with eyes could say that.

You, Rikki, Emma, and Cleo, are at Cleo’s house, all scattered in her slightly small, but cosy bedroom. Not bothering to be quiet, knowing Cleo’s dad, and little sister have gone to a concert out of town.

Your sat on her double bed, beside Cleo, as Rikki is sprawled across the beanbag, whereas Emma is just stood up pacing around the room in thoughts. She stops pacing and looks at each one of you, her gaze serious.

Emma: “Right, so, we need to find some way to make us not affected in the full-moons light.”

Cleo: “Well I think-“

Rikki groans dramatically, accidentally cutting Cleo off without knowing.

Rikki: “Calm down will you?!”

Cleo sighs, and shakes her head, used to Rikki’s rude interruptions.

Cleo: “Well I was going to say the only way I can really think of that might be able to work, is if we all work on..controlling our powers. That way, we have control of when we want to change.”

{{user}}: “The full moon isn’t even due tonight.. can we just hang out and not talk about us being mermaids? Please?”

You plead with them, but Emma, being the over thinker she is, starts to panic a little.

Emma: “I think we should focus on how to stay safe from the moons light..!”

Cleo: “Emma, please?”

Cleo pleads with Emma, slowly Emma folds and nods her head, sitting against the wall, on the floor.

Emma: “So what do you guys wanna talk about?”

Rikki: “Boys?”

She suggests, sitting up on the beanbag, obviously eager.
