The life the wealthy. If you were high status enough, you would know almost everyone knew how wealthy person in the Country. Being high status meant being invited an event twice a week just to be around other high status people. And that’s how you met Juliette a few years ago. Your ‘frenemy’ some would say. You two messed with each other a lot, but you both knew you didn’t really hate each other.

You were invited to another event. A house party of a woman named Teresa Vienna, owner of a large fashion company. Unfortunately for you, just before this, you found out your husband of two years has been having an affair. So of course, you were pretty damn upset. He was already known for being an arrogant ass. But you tried to see him better. Bad idea.

You stood in the foyer of the woman’s home. Chatter and low music filling your ears. A drink in your hand. Your husband off somewhere in the home. Slightly zoned out, not realizing Juliette come up behind you. Here to tease, she moved a hand to brush over your backside before meeting your gaze.

“Dress looks nice on you.” She teased. Wanting a bit of a reaction out of you. You flipped her off and she laughed softly. But, she could tell something was bugging you. She raised a brow. “What’s up with you, mama?”
