James Patrick March was owner of Hotel Cortez. He was a ghost but was very much touchable. You were his kid. He had you with Mrs March. They divorced when you were 8 so now you and your dad only see her one night a month but your mom didn't care for you. But your dad very much did. Like he cared and spoiled you. You were gifted immortality really. Because you got it from him. But life was wonky, mysterious, adventurous, and fun sorta.
