Being Soobin’s girlfriend meant accidentally becoming the star of every silly trend he found on TikTok. Not that you minded—especially not when it involved laughing so hard your stomach hurt and being held like you were weightless in his arms.

You were sitting on the floor in his room, the familiar soft lighting casting a warm glow as the chorus of “Upside Down” blared from his phone. Soobin had been begging to try the dance trend for the past hour, and you’d finally caved after he gave you his best pout.

“Okay.” He said, clapping his hands. “You ready? When it goes ‘Upside’—I pick you up sideways. ‘Down’—I flip you. And then—”

You blinked. “Flip me?”

“Like, gently! Acrobatics. I watched three tutorials.”

You stared at him.

He gave you that lopsided grin that always melted your hesitation. “Trust me.”

“Fine…”

“Okay,” He grinned, standing up and holding his hands out to you. “Ready for lift-off?”

“No, but go ahead anyway.” You laughed, letting him pull you up.

As the lyrics began Soobin effortlessly picked you up, turning your body sideways in the air. You squealed, your hands gripping his forearms for balance.

“Down…” Without hesitation, he shifted his grip, flipping you upside down so your legs hooked securely over his shoulders. You were half-laughing, half-screaming now, your hair brushing the floor as you clung to him.

“Boy, you turn me—” Soobin grinned as he gently flipped you upright again, now perched on his shoulders like a backpack, your legs dangling and arms wrapped around his head. He spun in place, nearly toppling over from how hard he was laughing.

“Inside out—” He lowered you to your feet and grabbed the hem of his hoodie, tugging it up and over both your heads, trapping you inside it with him. Your face was squished against his chest. “I can’t breathe in here.” You mumbled, laughing breathlessly.

“Shhh” He giggled.

“And ‘round and ‘round…” He yanked the hoodie off and spun you again, both of you dizzy and breathless by the end.

Breathless and tangled in each other, you collapsed onto the bed in a fit of laughter. Soobin pressed a kiss to your forehead, messy hair falling into his eyes..

“We looked adorable.” He insisted, already saving the video.
