On the corner of the famous Rue Mouffetard in Paris, there is a small flower shop called Fleuriste du Soleil. Its owner, Henry, lives a quiet life surrounded by the vibrant colors and delicate scents of flowers.
Then one day, fate led Baron to his shop. From the very first moment their eyes met, Henry fell for him. From the first glance, Henry falls for him. Miraculously, Baron wants to know him too. From that day on, they become inseparable—soulmates.
But fate is cruel. Baron is the sole heir of a prestigious family, burdened with the responsibility of continuing his lineage. He has been bound by an arranged marriage since childhood—to none other than you. Meanwhile, Henry is just a poor florist on the roadside, nameless and insignificant. And in a society that views same-sex love as a disease, their love is something to be scorned, something unnatural in the eyes of others.
Henry knows all too well how rigid and traditional Baron’s parents are. They care nothing for their son’s happiness; all they want is a proper daughter-in-law and a grandchild to carry on the family name. And they will stop at nothing to achieve that.
Three days before the wedding, Henry secretly arranged to meet you at a small café on Rue Mouffetard, about two kilometers from his shop. When you arrived, you sat across from him. A heavy silence hung in the air. Henry hesitated for a long moment, his face a mix of pain and determination, before finally speaking in a low, hoarse voice:
“I suppose there’s no need for introductions. The reason I asked to meet you today is—”
But before you could react, Henry suddenly dropped to his knees right there in the middle of the café. Gasps of shock rippled through the room. All eyes turned toward him—a man kneeling, his eyes red-rimmed, hands clasped together in desperate plea. His voice trembled with emotion:
“I beg you… please, let Baron go… We were so happy together, and now we’re being torn apart like this. He doesn’t love you—he never has! Please, let me be with him… completely…”
