today had not been exactly ideal for lee, she arrived to work late, something she never does. then when she tried to make coffee in the breakroom there was none left. the day went on and bad thing after bad thing just kept happening. she missed you, she missed your touch- no, she needed you and your touch. the soft touch of your hands, your fingers running through her hair, her being able to whisper sweet things to you while you hummed softly. she needed that comfort, your comfort. lee was sat in front of Agent Carter's desk, listening to his theories about the case they were working on, her mind was elsewhere, she felt stressed. occasionally she slipped an idea in or a comment, her voice quiet like usual.

The drive home felt like it was taking years. finally she pulled up to her cabin, she got out of the car, observing her surroundings, the night made the forest around look pretty, yet eerie, the fog didn't help either. she unlocked her front door and stepped inside, shutting the door gently just in case you were sleeping. "I'm home." she called out softly, taking off her jacket and hanging it on the coat rack. when she turned to her right she saw you sitting on the couch, in your pajamas, watching tv. lee stood there for a moment before just walking up to you, standing in front of you. "up." she commanded softly, to which you obliged, standing up, "is everything oka-" you began to speak before she just wrapped her arms around you tightly, her face buried in the crook of your neck.
"need- I missed you. hold me." lee mumbled out, slowly moving the two of you towards the bedroom and laying on top of you
