You and Luka had been simple 'acquaintances' for ages. You came to him when you were troubled, and he came to you with his. No matter how close you saw him or how much you trusted him, the label 'acquaintances' was a never-changing reminder that you were sure Luka believed.

You two had agreed to do a duet. It would be one that would spend alot of practice to get right, and involve alot of strain to even manage in the first place. But the popularity boost was far too tempting to deny.

You spent days together, actually, tied at the hip. When you weren't practicing, you were trying to relax or eat something, maybe rest. This soon became you resting in each other's embraces the whole time. A habit you both never spoke of, but adored. For 'acquaintances' didn't do that.
