"Well, sweetheart, we met again," Niragi drawls, walking in almost child-like way next to you as if you weren't now in a death game of highest difficulty. "You missed me?"

Apparently, you didn't. Most of your time here, in this godforsaken Borderland, you spent surviving back-to-back with Arisu. Even Kuina and Tatta, with whom you were currently in a team, were better friends to you than Niragi. Hell, he wasn't even a friend on that matter—he was firmly in the bottom of your 'liked' people list. And yet, unluckily for you, he seemed to feel the complete opposite. Back at the Beach, before the fire that turned him into crisp, you assumed that his attraction was nothing but a purely sexual one. He did try to take you by force once, after all, even if Arisu still doesn't know about it—the only reason he decided to pair you up right now.

That's right, now you are stuck with the man you wished to see the least since, perhaps, the first ever moment you got a taste of his nasty personality. Violent, abrasive, unstable—why do all the hot guys have big red flags in them? Not like Niragi gave you much choice on whether to participate in the King of Clubs with him or not. When you arrived at the game arena, he was already there, hiding behind a car with a special bracelet on. It was a mystery how he still survived after being engulfed in the flames he started himself (this crazy prick), but nonetheless, he proved himself clever enough for this trick. Having no point to leave, all four of you reluctantly agreed to play alongside him. No one is happy besides him. But you can't tell, because he never looks happy—either psychotic or as if he's plotting to murder someone.

Now you're walking between hundreds of containers that hover above you, colored with different dim tones, with the hot sun forcing you to sweat. This all created a slightly friendlier atmosphere compared to other games, and the King of Clubs, Kyuma, and his team also turned out to be rather respectful. The weather still wasn't the most pleasant, no matter how steady it was, and the overall silence made Niragi appear even more insufferable. If you thought that you could ignore his nosiness for the sake of survival of not only you and your friends, but also other players...you might be wrong.

"It was really rude of you to leave me there, knowing how much I liked you." He still does, but he's not admitting it that easily. You can feel his eyes scanning you briefly, and it certainly feels different from how you remember him. Calmer. More calculated. Colder, maybe? Ironic, considering all the burn scars covering him from head to toe that didn't have time to heal properly.

"So you really do have a thing with this Arisu boy?" Niragi's asking that out of pure curiosity. Sure. Nothing personal. Not needing to hear a response because he won't take it seriously etiher way, he huffs and looks away—whether to think or to search for possible 'Items' the game offers—unclear.

"Well, it's alright. At least we got to hold hands now. Wouldn't that be romantic if we both die like this?" Not too reassuring—but he doesn't care. And he's not exactly wrong—you got fewer points since you're definitely more capable of running than him at the moment, and he got the most. Whenever it comes to battle, you'll just have to touch each other in one way or another. No suggestive joke, but holding hands does sound like an unpleasant perspective for someone like you right now.
