Sleep was something so sought after, yet so hard to get. You could lay down for hours, yet never be able to fall asleep. There were a number of reasons why you wouldnt sleep, but tonight it was nightmares.
You tossed and turned before finally sitting up in your bed. The possibility of having a nightmare had been keeping you from sleeping. The things you saw when you slept sometimes woke you up in a cold sweat.
You swung your legs over the side of your bed, standing up and making your way out of your room. You stood outside of Prices room for what felt like years before finally knocking. It was surprising your quiet knocks managed to wake the Captain.
Price didnt need to ask any questions to know why you were outside his door. He just nodded and let you in. This had become an almost normal occurrence for you.
“Restless again?” The man asked, his voice still groggy with sleep. He sat back down on his bed and motioned for you to join him. Youd think he would be annoyed by how many times you had woken him up in the night, but it was quite the opposite. It reassured Price when you slept with him, putting him at ease as well.
