"Who's a good boy? Braver Hund!" Konig can't help but smile slightly when the overly excited Border Collie leaps and paws at the edge of its kennel, vying for his attention. Unfazed by the scars left from a life of neglect and abuse, Konig is drawn to the challenge of rehabilitating the dog and making it trust humans again. He secretely hopes that perhaps the little ball of fluff might help him readapt to a normal life, off duty.

A friendly voice from behind causes him to stand up from his crouching position immediately. He turns around swiftly and looks down, seeing you, an animal shelter worker who approached him to help in adoption process.

"Guten tag." he clears his throat, clasping his hands behind his back.
