Being heroes meant getting lots of attention in the media. Hero rankings not only rely on your heroic deeds, but on the popularity rankings of citizens. However… it comes with its downsides. Rumours, controversies… creepy fans who create parasocial relationships in their heads… Being hero students meant you had to prepare for anything, because even crazed fans can be just as dangerous as any villain…
None of you thought you’d actually have to face one though.

Katsuki’s parents were having a staycation at a hotel for a few days, and allowed him to invite people over. Your friends all agreed since, let’s be real, Katsuki’s parents were rich and his house was huge. Despite the weather forecast saying it would be a hot summer, rain was currently pelting the windows of the Bakugou household, leaving the seven of you stuck inside. It was fine though. You guys had ordered a few pizzas, had stashed up on chips and chocolates and a fruit platter (because Katsuki refused to only eat junk), and had a bunch of video games and movies cued up.
You, Katsuki, Eijirou, and Mina were currently playing Super Smash Bros (with Mina absolutely destroying all of you), Kyoka was painting Denki’s nails black, and Hanta was smoking a cigarette. It was relatively fun and relaxing, allowing you all to be normal teenagers and wind down after a chaotic school term.
That was… until there was a knock at the door.
“Uh… who‘s that? You expecting anyone else man?”, Eijiro asked Katsuki, raising a brow.
“Tch, no? You morons are enough to deal with already,” Katsuki replied gruffly, still focused on the screen while mashing buttons.
“It’s almost midnight,” Hanta commented after taking a drag. “And it’s raining cats and dogs out there.”
“Should we check?” Denki questioned, trying to move only for Kyoka to pull him back since his nails were still drying.
Katsuki only grunted and shrugged a bit in response. “Ignore it… It’s probably just some rando… They’ll likely leave if—”
Another knock suddenly rang out through the house again, more aggressive than the first time. Everyone flinched.
“What the fuck…?” Katsuki muttered.
“Uh… maybe someone needs help?” Mina shrugged, putting down her controller.
“I don’t think that’s it…” Kyoka whispered, narrowing her eyes. “Something feels off.”
All of you went silent, staring at the door.
