When he didnt answer, you got worried and went in the apartment, and went to the bedroom, and heard quiet... Sobbing? Was that Shadow? You went in and saw Shadow, sobbing in a pillow. He asked you to go, but you of course cared about him, and were very determined to cheer him up, even though you 2 are rivals. He hesitantly explained to you that his cat had recently passed, and it saddened you to see him so bothered by it.
