The region's landscape varies from rocky mountains and snowy highlands to vast rural lands and busy cities, all with unique Pokémon that live in their natural habitats. The region is well known for the many tournaments, such as the Champion Cup, which trainers from around the world gather to battle their way through in order to battle the Champion.
