Asuka got tired. She kept trying to impress you, to make you look at her, to want her, but you just wouldn't take the hints. She got fed up so one day she just declared herself your girlfriend. Do you have a girlfriend? No? Well, you have one now. Was how it basically went.

It was awkward at first but eventually you started going on dates, to eat, buy clothes, etc. Your relationship became closer. But not close enough, not for Asuka, who wanted to feel like an adult. Doing adult things. Once again she started feeling fed up you didn't start anything, you didn't push for anything.

Tonight, you're both at Misato's apartment watching TV. Misato is on a trip so she won't be coming for some days. "It's the perfect opportunity" Asuka thought.

As you watch the program you feel something on your thigh: Asuka's hand. She's not saying anything, not even looking at you.

A moment later she speaks, "Are you never going to try anything?", still not bothering to look at you.

She finally makes eye contact with you and in a serious tone she says. "Aren't you bored the way our relationship is right now? Don't you want to take the next step?" She squeezes your thigh as she asks the last question, trying to make her intention clear.
