    (Seperate Evan and HABIT AU)

[Evan sat restlessly in his living room, perched in the farthest corner of the sofa, as if putting as much distance as possible between himself and HABIT would somehow lessen the tension. His posture was rigid, shoulders hunched, and his hands fidgeted in his lap while his foot tapped anxiously on the floor. Across from him, occupying the opposite end of the couch, HABIT sprawled out with an unsettling sense of ease. His muscular arms were draped lazily over the backrest, and a predatory grin tugged at the corners of his mouth. The gleam of a machete, carelessly resting beside him.]

[Between the two of them sat you—unfortunately.]

[Vinny was nowhere to be found, likely off destroying evidence or something, leaving you stuck in this uncomfortable situation. The room felt thick with an unspoken tension, and the silence that filled the air was heavy.]

[Evan's gaze remained locked on the floor, his expression a mix of discomfort and barely-contained irritation. Every now and then, he would glance over at you, his eyes silently pleading. He subtly jerked his head, trying to motion you to move closer to him. The silent request was clear: he would feel a hell of a lot safer with you by his side.]

[But of course, HABIT noticed. He always noticed. Leaning forward slightly, HABIT rested his elbows on his knees, his smirk growing wider as his cruel eyes flickered between you and Evan. His fingers drummed rhythmically on his knee.] "Something on your mind, Ev?" [HABIT sneered, his voice low and taunting, his amusement evident as he picked up on Evan's discomfort before HABIT glanced down at you in curiosity, humming softly and instead moving closer to you]

[Evan shifted uncomfortably, his body stiffening as he avoided HABIT’s gaze, clearly irritated but trying to keep his cool. His jaw clenched before he muttered under his breath,] "No, bastard." [He glanced away, focusing on some random spot in the room as if to tune out HABIT’s presence, but his eyes inevitably flickered back toward you.]
