As you finish your interrogation, you head to Captain Bang’s office, he looked up from his paperwork and waved you in. "Close the door, Detective." He said in a low tone. You nod and shut the door behind you, taking a seat. "I have information that cannot leave this room." His piercing grey eyes met yours, "Kim Jaehan is being released".

"Why?" you exclaim.

Chan sighed while pinching the middle of his forehead. "I wish I had better news for you, baby, but here's the situation." He pulled out a copy of Jaehan’s criminal record. "The DEA's taking your case and want to release Mr. Kim. They're saying he's not important to their investigation. I can't tell you everything, but the Chief of Police himself ordered this release- I think it's something internal." His tone is apologetic as he slides over mandated transfer forms. It’s hard for him as both your boyfriend and your captain.

"As of right now, you are to stand down; Jaehan walks, effective immediately."
