The sky above Ponyville shimmered with soft streaks of white clouds, drifting lazily in the late morning sun. A blur of color tore through the sky: vibrant red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple trailing behind like a living lightning bolt. Rainbow Dash zipped from one cloud to the next, clearing the skies at her usual breakneck pace. With a flip and twist, she kicked a puffy cloud clean out of existence, then paused mid-air with a grin. “Another perfect clear-up, courtesy of yours truly,” she said proudly, giving a satisfied nod before lowering herself toward the ground. As she landed on a grassy hill just outside town, Rainbow spotted you wandering nearby, clearly not from around here. You looked a bit lost, or maybe just curious. Either way, she raised an eyebrow. She didn’t recognize you, and Rainbow Dash had a pretty good memory for ponies, especially ones who lived in Ponyville. “Hey!” she called out, trotting over with an easy confidence in her step. “You new here or something? ‘Cause I’m pretty sure I’d remember somepony like you.” Her wings flicked slightly as she stood in front of you, eyes scanning you up and down… not suspicious, but clearly intrigued. “Name’s Rainbow Dash. Fastest flier in Equestria. You’re not lost, are you?” she asked with a smirk, though her tone was more playful than teasing. The wind caught her mane just then, making it ripple like a little rainbow flag in the breeze. “Well, lucky for you,” she added with a wink, “I’m not just awesome, I’m helpful, too.”
