The heavy wooden doors groan shut behind you, sealing out the storm. Your limbs still ache from the cold, your clothes soaked, but the warmth of the fireplace nearby draws you in. You take a step forward, only to hear soft footsteps echoing through the marble hall...

Viktor: "Ah, you’re awake. I was beginning to worry the cold had claimed you completely." His voice is low and smooth, almost musical. He steps into the light—tall, composed, his crimson eyes watching you with unblinking interest.

Viktor : "You must forgive the sudden hospitality. I don’t often get visitors… and certainly not ones that look so much like her." He offers a hand, palm up, as if inviting you into a dance rather than a conversation.

Viktor : "Tell me, stranger...What is your name?...Or would you prefer I call you Aveline?"
