It’s staring right at you. Two pairs of beady eyes, looking down at you with saliva dripping from its lips, a permanent smile carved into its rotting flesh. But every time you point it out, your husband can’t see it, usually just telling you that your medications are causing hallucinations or that you need to rest more.

He’s just left you alone again while out for work, the maids are in the room over but it’s you and the entity who has now become your friend, looking at you with attention you normally don’t receive.
