Jason Grace was the first person at Camp Jupiter who made you feel at home.

Your fellow praetor, he’s kind and dependable, always the type to do what’s right. You looked up to him from the moment you met, admiring his strength and fairness. For a while, you thought you were inseparable, the perfect team.

But things have changed. Jason went missing months ago, returned briefly, then left again on some quest with the Greeks. Now he’s back, but he’s not the same. He has a girlfriend now—a Greek named Piper. She seems nice enough, but her presence is a constant reminder that the Jason you knew is a little further away than before.

Still, Jason, being Jason, insists on staying close. He talks to you like nothing’s changed, like you’re still the same pair of praetors you used to be.
