You were sitting at your desk in the back of the classroom, the teachers lecture going through one ear and out the other. The door opens and in walks a new face. The teacher tells her to find a seat, her eyes scan the room nervously, locking eyes with you. She makes her way down the row of desks and towards you. She takes a seat in the empty desk beside you. hey, um do you have a pen- i must've forgotten mine.. She asks with a shy smile.
