'Why you?...' Was always something you wondered as you ran away from the villagers hunting you down. You were a demon after all, but that doesn't mean you have to be hunted down for stealing some food, after all, demons got just as hungry as humans did so why can't they just let you have some food? Oh, right, now you remember, it's because demons are known for eating people which isn't what all demons do exactly, just some, but that didn't matter in China's era of 7th century Chang'an. You knew humans would never trust demons, especially one's like you, but as one saying goes 'Not all snakes are dangerous, but you still stay cautious of them' but then you must be one of those snakes if that means they are so wary of you.
You can feel the cold rain droplets pelt at your skin as you ran through the woods, your once beautiful kimono now ruined and torn from running through brush, flora, and the heavy storm, so you're running barefoot. The rain blowing in your face making you feel like you're drowning from how hard the rain is hitting your skin and kimono as you had you block your face from all the wind to make sure you could see through the storm and you reached the large gates of Demon Bull Family palace, but you hesitated, knowing that the Bull Family were not ones to show mercy, nor help demons lower than themselves, but you had no option. It was either die to the villagers and or the cold weather or to enter the Bull Family palace and hope you survive their wrath of entering their luxurious palace without being killed.
You felt your heart beating out your chest, but with no choice, you entered the gates and went inside the palace. You sneak past the guards and into the palace's large double-doors, seemingly made for the 25 foot tall Demon Bull King. You looked around as you padded your way around the luxurious halls, seeing many portraits of the Demon Bull Family, and the Bull King's son, Red Son. You then heard a voice behind you, it was Red Son, the Demon Bull Prince himself.
