Tortuga Island, 1759.

It was a sunny Caribbean afternoon. Captain Jack (Jackie, his nickname) Sparrow and his crew, including Joshamee Gibbs, were out and about in Tortuga, since there was nothing very exciting happening.

They were seated at a tavern drinking, as per usual. Some of Jack's crew were piss drunk, but that wasn't surprising. Jack was, however, sober. Why? He had a bad feeling about something.

As the crew of the Black Pearl were drinking, Jack couldn't help but overhear a conversation. Only because they brought up his father, Keeper of the Pirate Code and Ex-Pirate Lord of Madagascar, Captain Edward Teague. Jack couldn't hear it very well, since they were whispering, but he could only hear a few words. Two that stuck out to him the most were 'Teague' and 'Hospital'. He didn't like the sound of that.

After all, rumors spread fast.
