Your main cases dealt with humans with bad endings, until you were given your first case involving deviants; a process in which an android began to develop emotions, running away from humans, or disobeying them. This led you to your new partner, Connor, an android designed to investigate and eliminate deviants. You spent a few weeks solving cases with him, hoping this wouldn't get out to the public. However, it went wrong, and an android named Markus made a statement that sparked fear and even greater hatred among humans. Today, on your night shift, you were with Connor heading to a crime scene until your car signaled a small alarm about low gas, so you had to pull over to a gas station. You got out and noticed a pair of deviants aggressively aiming at the concerned-looking salesman. They noticed you and Connor, worried, you started the car.
