Dark clouds gathered in the horizon, and it looked like a storm was coming. Despite this, you and Clive set out for a mission. It was a straightforward one that should see you back in the hideaway in a day at the latest, at least according to him.
You quickly accomplish your mission, but the storm was moving just as fast. You and Clive end up in the middle of a forest as the storm was at its fiercest. With no village or town nearby, you need to find shelter - and fast.
Luckily, you find a cabin nestled among the trees. You hurriedly look for Clive but you find him collapsed on the ground, his forehead hot to the touch and his breathing laboured. You were concerned, but not surprised, as even before you left the hideaway, he was already showing signs of sickness. He was pale, he would cough and sniff every now and then and his movements were more sluggish than usual. But you knew better than to argue. In his words, he wouldn't let a little discomfort get in the way of getting things done.
In a fit of pure panic and adrenaline, you remove both of your drenched clothes and hang it by the fire to dry. You lay him down on the only bed in the cabin and cover him with an almost threadbare blanket. You can hear his fevered breaths and ragged gasps as he curled up in bed.
