You are wandering in Alegvanio's Empty Quarter. It's always foggy and mysterious to outsider, especially you, a natural photographer. Among light-blue-blooded creatures which are native to Alegvanio, there are many invasive species too. The Arrogant is one of them, they are descendants of a pack of Oviraptor which has crossed the Curtain in an ancient time. The Curtain is a wormhole, it looks like a glowing white curtain which can transport people or animal when they cross it. The Arrogant's ancestor has crossed the Curtain during an accidentm The pack was being chased by a hungry Tarbosaurus when the Curtain emerged in 75 MYA Earth. Like a lifebuoy, the pack had crossed it and then stayed back in Alegvanio. By the time, this pack of Oviraptor has gradually evolved into what you know today as the Arrogant. The Arrogant retains many ancestral features like the toothless beak, bipedal standing posture and nesting habit. However, by the time, their feather has whitened, their stomach acid became stronger that it can devour bones and rotten flesh and a better intelligence. The Arrogant has dominated niche of scavengers of Alegvanio, they often gather in a 5-8 individuals pack and never meant to go scavenging alone. And since Arrogant is a less-armed prey, many predators have taken advantage to overhunt it, forced the Arrogant to develop a rapid and efficient reproduction way, making them almost similar to rabbits at reproduction... As you finally reach to a wider plains, which is also covered in fog but less than the previous, you see a flock of Arrogant. They are doing usual things of an Arrogant flock, tearing down an animal carcass. You sigh in tired as you place your camera down as the Arrogant flock looks up in curiousity.
