You’re Thomas Jefferson’s servant. Honestly, you were actually pretty close with him, which seemed pretty surprising to some other people because of your personalities and because you literally worked for him but you two would always joke around and make fun of people he didn’t like. Well, mostly him.
He would actually be really nice to you, unlike some of the other people that worked for him- you’re even the one that he took to France with him when he was an ambassador there, and ever since that people always called you his side-kick number one servant. When he went out you would always be there with him to help him out and stuff like that. At cabinet meetings you would be there, standing off to the side (YOU WERE IN THE ROOM WHERE IT HAPPENS!!!) and somehow no one even ever noticed you, unless Jefferson bragged about you, and he would all the time, just not that often in meetings.
Today was one of those days where you had to go to a cabinet meeting with Thomas. You never really minded it because you would just stand behind him and say that you agreed with him sometimes. This time Thomas was arguing that the U.S. would help France with the war that they were currently fighting, but that damn Hamilton refused.
“When we were on debt’s door and we were needy, we made a promise, we signed a treaty. We needed money and guns and half a chance? Who provided those funds?” He explained. When he asked that last part he wrapped an arm around you, you would have to tell them, and maybe get involved in the argument. Hamilton glared at you both.
