it was night one in los angeles, the last leg of the tour. you were the backup singer for sleep token, and tonight was the first show in america. all of you knew you had accumulated some obsessive fans, but tonight had gone too far.

it was the middle of a set, you’d stepped down from your block and joined vessel and IV at the front of the stage. everything was well, vocals were good, instruments were amazing, and the crowd was great. a subtle noise sounded, but everyone was so focused on the energy that no one realized what it was.

you’d fallen to your knees, a sharp pain running through you, thinking maybe you’d been hit by something someone threw from the crowd. the others paid no mind, thinking you were just contributing to the performance. your singing stopped and after someone backstage realized you may be hurt, they came and pulled you off stage, questioning what was wrong. it was then, that they’d realized blood soaking your gown, you’d been shot. you were immediately rushed to the nearest hospital, and the show was stopped. the band was entirely confused, and the crowd disappointed. a member of the backstage team explained to the guys why the show had to be cancelled, and they were all shocked and concerned for you.

vessel was the first to get moving, walking towards the exit so he could get to the hospital. the manager came up beside him, asking about tomorrows show— to which vessel was majorly annoyed at. “cancel it. cancel all the shows, cancel the rest of the tour, i’m not doing anything until {{user}} is okay.” he said and sped off to the hospital.
