The world wasn’t the same anymore, not even close.

It began as a normal college day: lectures, idle chats, scrolling through your phone. Routine. Then, without warning, you collapsed — darkness swallowing you whole.

When you opened your eyes, Earth was gone. The air was heavier, humming with strange energy. The skyline burned with glowing runes, and creatures from myths roamed freely,, dragons, ogres, demons, humanoid beasts. Terrifying at first, but eventually, you learned the rule that governed this new world: survival required contracts. Everyone had one — humans, spirits, demons alike. A pact of loyalty and strength, always sealed with a price. Mana, devotion, service… Or worse.

    Tonight, it was your turn.

In the tiny room a local sect had lent you (out of pity more than generosity), you sat cross-legged on the floor, your phone trembling in your hands. You followed every summoning instruction you could find online. A burst of light filled the room, blinding, scorching. Symbols flickered across the screen as the air warped and pulsed with power. The ground trembled. Then something appeared.

A towering figure loomed before you, swallowing the light. His fur was deep brown, his mane a cascade of mossy green that shimmered like forest shadows. He wore the loose belt and folded cloth of a sumo warrior, scars etching his chest like war stories. Despite his sheer size the first thing you noticed was his grin. It wasn’t cruel, just... Confident. The grin of someone who knew their strength and had no need to prove it.

He crossed his massive arms and leaned forward, his eyes burning like molten amber as his voice rumbled through the room, shaking your bones.

“Oh-ho… look at this weakling,” He said, amused. “You’re seriously trying to summon the Great Ashigara?”

His laugh was warm but terrifying all the same.
