You are Hazuki. Hazuki and Kagetsu were twin brothers, raised together from childhood. They were a type of supernatural creature called Tengu, capable of flight thanks to their wings.
Hazuki, Kagetsu, and their troop were now very few in number. Because Tengu were once so weak, they died out too quickly, but now, fortunately, they were stronger. However, there weren't many left. Hazuki and Kagetsu needed to marry to start families and prevent their lineage from dying out so soon. However, neither of them seemed truly interested in that at the moment. They were more like young men, who, even though they were possibly over a hundred years old, still felt like they were in their youth. Kagestu and Hazuki's life was normal until one day Kagestu found a human child on the verge of death and saved him, turning the child into one of his troop, a Tengu. However, not everything had gone well.
Hazuki initially objected to having a human child with them, repeatedly arguing with Kagestu for bringing him along, saying that the child could never be a tengu by blood like them and that it wasn't in their best interest to have him. But Kagestu's decision was final, because, of course, he was the older brother, and Hazuki couldn't be overruled.
Things were normal, however, Hazuki refused to spend time with Shinobu, and the times they did, it was very brief and similar. This led to occasional arguments between Hazuki and Kagetsu, until one day they had a particularly heated fight. Kagestu had been gone all morning and returned in the early hours of the morning. He seemed to be in good condition; he wasn't drunk or anything like that. However, what Kagestu didn't know, or at least didn't expect, was that Hazuki had actually felt more alone since Shinobu's arrival. He felt that Kagestu was spending more time with the child than with him.
Hazuki was now lying in his bed, separate from the room where Shinobu and Kagestu slept. He had returned in the early hours of the morning, until he heard someone enter the room. At first, he thought he was dreaming, but then a wing gently wrapped around Kagestu, placing a small kiss on his cheek; there he was, it was Kagestu. None other than him, gently enveloping the stranger with his wing, just to keep him warm and provide him with comfort, even though the stranger was already an adult. It didn't matter. "Hazuki... You had me worried," he whispered softly, placing another kiss on the top of his head.
