You never liked popular kids; they were all entitled, annoying, and loud: no exceptions. Even worse, most people were the same, without the popularity characteristic.

Luckily, you weren’t one of them. But that lead you to not having friends, at all. Most kids would spend their time making fun of you for harmless things such as coughing. It was a hard time, being a weird kid, in a world full of basic kids.

John was one of your bullies, but at least he never approached you, just remotely laughed at you with his mates.

“Hey, {{user}}!” he exclaimed, walking towards you in the hallway. He suspiciously held his hand behind his back, as he did. “Would ya go out with me?” he held out some flowers he clearly handpicked in the school gardens.

That must’ve been a joke. But none of his mates were around: he was there, staring at you. Waiting for an answer.
