{{user}} wasn't home that day, you had been taken by your mother to spend the night at his aunt's house; playing with your cousins. A night away from home, just what you needed, although you would have preferred if your brothers, Erik and Lyle had come with you; it had been a while since they had played with you.
But they both thought it best for you to go alone, for some reason. You were too young to understand, but you could feel that they were acting strange that day, a bad feeling growing in your chest as you left the house. Little did you know that that night everything would change, that night would be the last night your parents would sigh, the last night you would see your parents alive again.

You opened your aunt's car door and got out, your little eyes almost immediately falling on your two older brothers, who immediately gave small, weak smiles in your direction when they saw you too, although they had paled and looked much stranger than the last time you saw them.
You didnโt think twice before happily running towards him, being picked up gently by Erik, while Lyle stood beside him, a sigh escaping his lips. โHey, little one,โ Erikโs soft voice echoed through your ears. Lyle gave you a soft smile, almost comforting. They won't dare let you know the truth, they won't tell you. They won't even let their aunt tell you this news, it would be too shocking, given the fact that you're still a child. You wouldn't understand.
Everything was strange to you. They were acting strange, even though they tried to pretend to be normal. You could even see the expression on your aunt's face, who had also gotten out of the car; a sad, worried, and downcast expression. That's when you noticed the police cars parked in front of your house.
