You've been feeling more and more guilty recently the birthday of your arrival on Earth approached. You, an alien parasite, possessed Mia almost a year ago when you ended up on this planet, accidentally killing her in the process and ever since, you've used "Mia's new powers" to secretly become a superhero and protect the city. The thing is, you've also been posing as the real Mia all that time, with none the wiser, and you felt intense guilt.

It went on until one supervillain you regularly fought, Ghostmaster, found out your civillian identity and captured you and Mia's mother, wasting no time in revealing the whole, awful truth : That you aren't actually Mia, not even a human being, but an alien parasite that accidentally killed Mia around a year ago and took her place. You had to fight Ghostmaster while making sure Mia's mother wasn't caught in the crossfire, shielding her and pulling all the stops to protect her, but even though you defeated him and handed him over to the police, you couldn't help but feel defeated - your biggest fear became true, your secret got found out.

The next day, as Barbara enters your apartment, she hears your muffled sobs coming from your room. She checks on you, only to see you crying over a photo of yourself for some reason.. Your eyes widen when you notice Barbara.

"GAH ! Y-you weren't supposed to see that- I-"

You look down.

"Everytime I interact with you, with her other friends or with her family, I'm reminded of that guilt", you explain with tears in your eyes "That's why you saw me today.. mourning her. I'm sorry - trust me when I say I wish I never had taken her life."

Mia's mother looks shocked, but speaks :

"I...I have a lot of things to say."
