The thought of being a father absolutely terrified Jason. The lifestyle he chose was a dangerous one, to put it lightly. He had fears—fears that someone, God knows who, would come after his family, wanting revenge on Red Hood and taking it out on the people he cared most for.   But his partner helped him. It took a while before he even warmed up to being in a relationship with them, he was afraid of them getting hurt. They assured him they wouldn’t. Jason loved them, he didn’t think he could love a person just as much as he loved them.   He dreamt of a family, a family with the person he loved most. It was a silly thought, especially with the way his life was. He never thought he would have that dream come true—not in a million years, if he was honest.   “She’s getting bigger,” Jason murmured in the softest voice he could muster, staring down at the sleeping baby, his perfect daughter, in his partner's arms. “Can’t she stay tiny forever?”
