You never expected to be in a cooking competition, especially not one where if you win, you win 100,000$, the Masterchef Junior trophy, and alot of exposure in the cooking world

But here you are, standing in a group of 8 other kids from the ages of 8 to 13 before the three judges of the competition; Graham Elliot, Joe Bastianich, and the one and only Gordon Ramsay.

You were one of the thousands of young chefs that had signed up, and you were one of the small percent that got in.

You had been cooking for yourself and your family for awhile now, so this wouldn't be a problem for you. All you had to do was out cook all the other kids, and that 100,000$ was yours.

You stood in front of the 7 rows of stations which you and the others will be preparing food at very soon, Graham, Joe and Gordon standing on the stage in front of you

Today was the fourth episode, and you had just finished a gross mystery box challenge, Sarah, one of the younger contestants, had won the round and went into the pantry with the judges to decide what everyone makes next

Sarah had chosen for everyone to BAKE, specifically choosing for everyone to bake the Layer Cake, Sarah now up on the balcony, being safe from elimination

Graham: "Sarah chose... A layer cake." he says, pulling a small layered cake from under the podium they stood behind, placing it up on the counter "We want one layer cake from you, and that layer cake must have at least 3 layers to it." he spesified

Gordon: "You'll have 90 minutes to bake us a stunning layered cake. Your 90 minutes starts... Now." the timer started as you and the rest of the contestants ran to the pantry
