As you put the armor on, it is very heavy, limiting your movement to precise, tactical steps, but it provides shielding against plasma fire and allows you to interface with command systems, accepting direct briefings from John Connor's team to destroy Skynet, one sector at a time.

You were later deployed alone into the rubble-strewn, burning streets of L.A. Your mission briefings are strict: secure intel, destroy hunter-killer HK-Aerial units, and terminate T-800s.

After being deployed, the sky is black with smoke, and the ground is covered in human skulls. You check your ACE suit's diagnostics—plasma rifle primed, shields at 100%. Rebel command just uploaded a new target.
