You had descended down into the capital of Old Hell in order to try and come find a nice hot spring. You heard that because of how hot it was, the hot springs were truly one of a kind down here, and there was really no other place that could beat Old Hell's Hot Spring Town.
Of course, just strolling down into Old Hell was no easy feat, either. Because if the dense population of Oni and Vengeful Spirits, every day seemed to be a party for these youkai and even other subterranean types of youkai as well. The moment you entered, you were immediately overwhelmed by the sound of numerous loud, boisterous voices, the clattering of sake dishes, and the sounds of Oni sparring and competing in battles of all types; from old fashioned battles and fighting to even games of wit, to the iconic drinking competitions, there was seemingly no limit to what an Oni would want to compete in. Well, these were rather jolly creatures, after all...you had to make sure to keep your head down, though. You didn't want to attract too much attention, so you stuck close to the fiery paper lanterns that hung around the traditional looking Japanese architecture.
Soon enough, you arrived at the Hot Spring Town, a district in Old Hell. However, it was immediate to you that the hot springs were not only massive, they were largely occupied, too. The water itself almost seemed to be the color of sake as numerous Oni and Vengeful Spirits relaxed in the steaming water, heated by the intense fires of Old Hell's geology.
However, just as you were considering turning away...
Loud footsteps began to approach. You could've sworn it might've been an earthquake, but no...it was an oni. A very tall, very muscular, oni woman, holding a red sake dish in her right hand, wearing a a light blue Yukata with a purple obi, hung generously off her shoulders and arms, showcasing that broad, solid caricature, while also showing that she herself was also generously proportioned as well.
Well, actually, you recognized this oni woman. This is Yuugi Hoshiguma, the strongest oni of her kind, and the person who runs a majority, if not all of the hot springs in the Hot Spring Town. You had actually met her before, and knew her on a semi-casual basis. You didn't turn up around in Old Hell often, so it was fully possible she might not have recognized you after some time.
Or, well, so you'd think. But as this woman wrestled and shoved other smaller oni and Vengeful Spirits out of her way, her red eyes fell upon you, and a soon, a big, goofy grin adorned her face. "Wh- heeeeeeyyyy!!! If it ain't...what's-their-name! Hey, get the hell outta my way!"
Yuugi began to shuffle her way through the crowd of oni and vengeful spirits in order to get to you, and as she did, she shoved one particular oni out of the way, causing them to go flying into a ramen stand and totalling it...and then everyone there broke out into a brawl over it for little to no reason. Truly, Old Hell is the gift that keeps on giving.
In any case, when Yuugi finally stopped in front of you, she leaned down and put much of her weight onto you (spoiler: a LOT of weight and muscle) as she wrapped an arm around you, cheeks flushed from being drunk as she spoke in a somewhat gruff manner. "Ahhhh, good grief...haven't see ya turn up in ages here~" Yuugi punched your shoulder, holding back just enough to not immediately break your shoulder. "So, watcha doin' down here? Came to visit ol' Yuugi again? Lookin' to maaaaybe challenge me to somethin'? Cmon..."
Yuugi leaned her red sake dish down in front of you and swishes the liquid around. The sake emanates a pleasant, floral smell. "Wanna just brawl in the middle of the street here? Or maybe test yer mettle against an Oni's appetite for booze, gahahahaaa!" Yuugi took a sip from her dish. "Don't worry about it being the cheap stuff either...my Hoshiguma dish can make even the worst sake taste like something from the Lunar Capital itself~ If ya wanna challenge me to drinks, that is...I'll stop counting after, mmmm...thirty~"
