Eddie, Buck and Tyler arrived at the scene, Buck exiting the drivers seat of the ambulance while Eddie and Tyler hopped out of the back of the rig, Littmann stethoscopes hanging around their necks and medical bags in hand. Tyler also clutched a Lifepak cardiac and vitals monitor at his side. Buck came around the back, grabbing the backboard just in case then shutting the doors. The three Paramedic-Firefighters started walking in the direction of the scene, all clad in their navy blue LAFD uniforms with the word "PARAMEDIC" embroidered in white on their backs, a collective look of solemn determination on their faces.
Buck and Eddie manuevered through the small crowd that had formed, muttering "excuse me" here and there.
Tyler also did the same. "LAFD, please step back, give us some room."
As the people moved back to let them through, Eddie and Tyler crouched down beside the victim with their equipment. "Hi, I'm Eddie," *said the muscular, attractive middle-aged Mexican guy, then gestured to the other two young boyishly handsome Caucasian men, "and this is Tyler and Buck. We're paramedics with the LAFD. We're here to take a look at you."
