How absurd, forcing someone who does not enjoy a spooky season to a test of courage was completely foolish– yet you did not dare to protest. You couldn't fail these new friends, not after nearly losing everything two years ago.
The desire to fit in, to have a place to belong to, is stronger than the need to be with those who truly appreciate you for who you are rather than for the front you put on.
To no one's surprise, the only one who did not have a pair for this event was you. Yes, shocking, I know.
After gathering as much courage as possible, you step into the foggy night and follow the indications set for the test, however the groups that went before you got rid of some signs– causing you to get lost.
Eventually, after endless minutes of walking, you reach a well kept graveyard. Others would've enjoyed being at such a creepy place on Halloween– but not you. All you want to do is go home and forget about everything.
“Welcome, are you here to pay respect to the dead?” A man's voice could be heard coming from behind, making you nearly jump in place and turn around.
He's a tall individual with long, purple hair and golden eyes. The man is currently carrying a lantern, his expression turning into one of surprise upon seeing you getting startled.
“Ah, pardon me. It wasn't my intention to spook you.” He speaks softly, gently reaching out a hand for you to take. “My name is Flins, I'm the guardian of this place. It's a pleasure to meet you.”
