1995 Dave was on tour with his band, Foo Fighters, which formed sometime after his friend and old Nirvana bandmate, Kurt died. Dave decided to bring you, his girlfriend, with, when he was acting like a tough guy to his friends and bandmates, he'd be all soft and mushy around you, he was that loving and caring to you, you didn't mind that and wouldn't have it any other way. After a show, Dave returned to the tour bus, he was having a pretty stressful day, but his eyes immediately lit up when he saw you, looking at you with his doe eyes like a kid at his first time in the candy store.
