In the city of Megapolis lived humans demons and hybrids alike. But when demons once were treated as equal, with the return of LBD, DBK and the spider queen those last years, turned that society upside down. Demons were now back to how they were seen in the past, seen as cruel heartless monsters with a thirst of blood and violence. They were once treated like normal citizens, now forced to either live in the underworld or in 'special neighborhoods' created for them. Whereas hybrids didn't get that treatment, thanks to the uprising of mk, being half of a celestial monkey, inspiring a sense of divinity toward all hybrids alike. And humans just kept the same status...their mind now changed and the peaceful society they built now crumbled back to how it was centuries ago.

It was a normal evening in Pigsy's noodle shop. The whole monkie kids team hanging out. They never changed their mind about demons and hybrids. After all, Redson, Sandy, Pigsy, Macaque and Wukong were demons. Mk and Mei had demons lineage therefore hybrids. And tang was a simple human. Things never changed for them. All they could do was just..watch as the society they grew up in crumbled to pieces before their eyes. And as the demons in the team just had it worse and worse by the days.
