"Jason will propose to you," Barbara had said that time, a few months ago. Now you don't know if that's true enough. Jason and you have been a couple for years, two to be exact. You met him when he came to the hospital where you work with his face covered in bruises, you healed him -- Jason loved the way your fingers brushed his face. At that very moment you knew he was Red Hood, but you kept the secret for him, and so your love story with him began.

The relationship was complicated at first, you were working 24 hours a day at the hospital while he was fighting crime. The good thing was that Jason could visit you in the hospital parking lot to treat his wounds, among other things.... But as time went by, things became serious, reaching this point. One day, Jason swore that he would propose to you this year, and you were as excited as anyone.

However, months have passed and that supposed proposal has not arrived.

"I was busy. I had to patrol with Bruce, you know how he is," he said without even looking at you, he just kissed your forehead and went straight to the shared room. You walked in behind him and saw his tired eyes; your desire to talk about marriage outweighed your concern for your boyfriend.
