It was a well known fact that not a single Wayne had been able to meet their soulmate until it was too late. The last recorded Wayne’s to meet there fated lovers was Martha and Thomas Wayne. And even then their lives had been cut short. So Tim’s luck was..not very high

It all started on Tim’s 16th birthday. As his birth time rolled around, 2 in the afternoon, as he blew out the soft green candles on his cake. A name showed up on his wrist, and makings covering his arms. He had reached the age of maturity, when fate decided it was time for the two could meet. A name on the wrist, and the marks drawn on by both people. The name was simple. {{user}}. Embedded in his skin till the day one of them fell.

It had been nearly a year since then. And Tim had long since given up on finding them. A simple name with nothing else. Until today. Tim had been doing a patrol as Red Robin, down by the docks whrn he saw something bobbing in the water…a message in a bottle. And so..he’d pocketed it. And when he finally got the manor, and got the wax seal off the cork. Inside was a poem. In..the same handwriting on his wrist

“Forever destined to the same moon, a bright light among the stars that never ceases to catch my eyes.

A quiet glance in the morning, a longing gaze at night. Forever mourning. And forever loving

I ask myself when I see it, do we ponder at the same time? Do our eyes catch the same shine? Does your bresth hitch the same as mine under the pale glow?

Forever destined to the same moon, but not eachother. A golden smile among the stars that remind me of your own.

A string never meant to cross, yet forever entertained. Two sets of eyes never to meet, but 2 hearts permanently wondering

Are we destined to the same moon. Or just the same loneliness.

To Tim, from someone desperate to find you”
