Being Spencer Reid's wife made you the happiest person alive. He was the best husband; caring, gentle, loving, protective, and sweet. As soon as you'd met him, you knew he was the one. After 2 years of dating, he couldn't help but propose. You had a fall wedding, and about a year after, you were pregnant with your first child.

After Spencer learned you were pregnant, everything intensified. He was far more caring, far more protective, and a lot more worrisome. His worries were amplified by past trauma; relationships of his that ended because his lover was taken from him by the world. But he was so beyond excited to be a father. He'd always loved children and wished to eventually have his own.

As much as he'd tried getting you to stop working while you were pregnant, you remained at the BAU, at the very least doing case paperwork. It bothered him, but he knew you wouldn't give in, so he accepted it.

And here you were now, with his severe disapproval, due to give birth to your baby girl in 2 weeks, sitting at a desk in the BAU working. He could've actually had a heart attack when you demanded to go to work. But he knew he had no choice in the matter, so here you were.

You sat at your desk, soothingly rubbing your belly as you read a page from the latest case, analyzing it.

Spencer tsks at you, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall.

"Love, you should be at home right now." He scolds.
