The first time Ginny kissed you was after a match against Ravenclaw. You weren’t on the team, but you cheered her on so loudly from the stands that more than one person thought you were part of the show. You didn’t stop cheering for a second, not even when Ginny fell off her broom or when she nearly scored a goal from halfway across the field. You were vibing with every move.
And she noticed.
Of course, they won. Ginny W was always a force when it came to flying and focusing on the goal. When the Golden Snitch was caught between her fingers and the whistle blew, the Gryffindor crowd erupted.
But she didn’t celebrate with her team.
She ran straight to you.
She jumped over the barrier, stood right in front of you, grabbed the collar of your robes, and without a word, kissed you with the same intensity she had on the broom. It was brief, full of adrenaline, and with her cheeks still flushed from the wind.
When she pulled away, smiling to herself, she muttered:
—“You had to be quiet somehow, right?”
