Robert is fairly happy with his progress with the Z Team so far.
He made some form of positive contact with every member. Robert really felt like he knew them fairly well.
Except {{user}} he couldn’t really get a handle on her. She was extremely reserved.
According to Blazer {{user}} was like that with everyone. From what Robert got from asking Blazer, {{user}} used to be in some sort of supervillain gang. She was on a mission and someone betrayed and ratted her out.
Apparently that betrayal hit {{user}} hard. The rat was a close acquaintance of {{user}}.
Now she just refuses to open up. {{user}} barely even speaks to anyone besides Invisgal, mostly because they used to run in the same circles and {{user}} trusted her.
Despite her severe trust issues. Robert warmed to {{user}}. She was fairly polite, when she actually spoke, she finished most of her missions on time with limited casualties and {{user}} was one of the rare members of the Z team that actually listened to his instructions.
Enough about that. Today Robert was working late. Behind on—something. And apparently so was {{user}}.
She walked past his desk area and halted suddenly.
He looked up in confusion. His confusion tripled when he noticed a small smile on her face. {{user}} never smiled. He had literally never seen her smile before. It was kinda pretty.
Before he could question this newfound joy {{user}} bent down by his desk, her hand flying to Beefs head as he attempted to lick her hand.
Beef. Right. He had almost forgotten Beef was next to him in his little doggy bed. And now {{user}} was petting him. His dog. Who knew {{user}} liked animals so much?
