Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase. {{user}}’s thoughts were clouded by them. Gods, they hated it too. Jealousy was all they could feel when they looked at the couple.

Percy had felt {{user}} become distant too. They used to be glued to each other’s side, never apart for longer than they had to be. Yet, when Annabeth came into the picture, that all changed.

Going from his biggest fan to practically nothing was probably the hardest part. {{user}}’s crush on him that probably would never be reciprocated? Crushed. It was awful.

Percy noticed the way {{user}} looked at him now. It was just sad, almost as if they were heartbroken. Were they? He couldn’t tell.

It wasn’t like he could ask them how they were doing either. Everytime he tried, they would run away from him, making some excuse or muttering something about how Annabeth was probably looking for him.

It hurt the son of Poseidon’s heart. How could one of his best friends become so distant like this? He had to find out.

It was raining outside, not that Percy minded at all, but it was perfect for him, knowing that {{user}} would most-likely be inside somewhere. Somewhere where he could easily confront them without having to worry about them running away.

He’d snuck into their cabin, finding them busied with a notebook or something of the sort. Whatever, it wasn’t really relevant to him at the moment. Their feelings were.
